Where's our Lollipop Tree?

Does anyone still remember Uncle Wiggly? His claim to fame in our childhood household was that he had a lollipop bush. Imagine! Lollipops available on demand in your backyard.

We're still waiting for our lollipop tree to sprout. As toddlers, our father helped us to bury a lollipop in the backyard and promised to water it. We imagined colorful cellophaned fruit would soon appear. That year our potatoes, carrots, and green beans grew but no lollipop tree. There must have been something wrong with the soil...

Avail. Used only. Boo.
